Hrmmm. Kits and Boomerangs.... i get the picture

I don't understand. I'm guessing its some kind of in-joke. IE: - Not a good topic for a movie that gets world wide publication. Me thinks you need to go back to the drawboard.
I guess this is what I get for pressing random flash film.
I suppose it might be called art somewhere in the world, but really its just another crap movie someones posted without putting any real effort into it.
Spend more time on your sound loops. I've heard that propellerheads loop a million times before, and this has got to be the worst cut job yet.

Not too shabby, some work required

Yeah a lot of promising things here, a lot of good graphics and decent sound work. However, the music in the first scene with the robot placing the bomb on the dish is very oppressive and overly loud. No evidence of anything beyond the most simple tweening animation, and the explosion and laser effects looked a little cheap, deductions for style and graphics there. There was no sign of the good doctor anywhere, whats the deal there? Also I think some proofin is required also, I found a couple of spelling mistakes and sometimes the action stopped at the wrong point, meaning that I had to use the flash controls to move it along. Overall a fairly promising piece of work, a little more practice and you'll be there: also get someone other than yourselves to check it over before submitting it.

A little pretentious for my liking

There seems to be a bit of a predominant obsession with ninja warriors here in the portal. I can't fault the graphics with this one, I can't draw for shit myself, but I have seen better. Having said that, I've seen millions that are a lot worse. My main beef with this was a) the action at the start moved a little too slowly (should make me excited, but instead it seemed more about trying to be stylish than good) and b) soundtrack. No real effort at doing anything with the sound beyond playing a techno track. Not that I've got anything against techno, and I'm not saying that it doesn't suit the film, I'm just saying that I think its been done to death and its time to move on. Overall, I think the outlook is positive though, keep up with the good work, but possibly on something different. If i were you, I'd either do something orginal with this character, or drop him.

Humdrum

Not a lot to this film really. Cruddy looking drawings, and the stock standard imported graphics. Some of the animation, although only effectively stick animation, seems kind of funny to watch. But otherwise a fairly lacklustre affair. Oh by the way, I skipped back from the end frame by frame, and it seems that David loves Heather. Though I must say, that I think that it wouldn't be too hard. Hotdog!

May be ugly, but the animation is damn fine

I've seen a lot of stick figure animation recently here at newgrounds, and a lot of it is FUCKING CRAP!!!! Usually I'm supercritical of people who don't take the time to draw something (even if it is crap). However this guy has redeemed himself with the top notch animation of his stick figure guys. Things just looked so wonderfully monty pythonesque, in the way that they moved.

Too short but, but promising

Interesting i must say. I'll be looking forward to more episodes of shoe boy. The art work is great and sound well integrated. For some reason I find english spoken in a german accent amusing (??). Stylish character introduction. I felt that the opening with shoe boy being kicked in the face humerous, but couldn't escape feeling that the action was too far of center. A little imbalanced. I can understand you releasing it, despite its short length, it must have taken ages as it was. I can't wait for something with more substance. Some sort of plot would be nice (a rare commodity in flash movies)

Very stylish and highly advanced animation

I must say i'm very impressed with this little offering. Some might think, oh no here we go again with another budget stick figure animation. However, the stick figure belies the real talent this artist has; a lot of the animation, especially the 3d transitional bits are superb. His rendering of "dave's" pistol is also superb. I also like the use of the propellerheads, (I'm sure the artist has permission for the use of the samples ;) ) My computer is a bit slow so i'm not sure how good the sound sync was, but I found the sound scape a little light on myself. A bit dissapointed (having raved about his animation) by the lack of animation of his stick figure sprites. Having decided to economise and use sprites, its a shame you didn't do more. Overall I thought the short was a veritable text book on 3d room rendering in flash, but the story ws very cliched and tired to say the least, so it wasn't as good as it could be. though i think a lot of new artists (and old for that matter) could learn a bit from this guy.
